So far what I have heard is that every one of the Class C misdemeanors challenged in court has been dismissed. And so far I have yet to hear about one of the Class A cases (reserved for people who were arrested) going to trial. The latter, of course, require visits to the "real" courthouse, while the former require sitting around with a bunch of speeders and red-light runners in municipal court.

And though we do know federal authorities were parts of the second set of raids, no word on any federal charges being levied yet.

If anyone happens to have an update on their own case that doesn't fit within the above, please let me know.

Oh, and 8-3 ... it's clearly not as powerful as 7-2.

I was playing in a nickel dime game at a secret location with a few other old geezers who can't outrun the cops, and one of these old-timers allowed as how all of the charges had been dropped when the infamous poker cases in Dallas finally made it to court. This guy bluffs off half his stack and plays 8-3o like he thinks he's Gus Hansen, but occasionally he gets it right. Dan, have you heard anything about this? The court cases, I mean, not 8-3o to the river.
