Poker Laws for the non-Pokery Masses

Radley Balko, one of my favorite poker-friendly non-poker provocateurs, is on the radio right now — ESPN 970 am in Las Vegas — talking about poker, online poker, internet gambling, the UIGEA, and presumably how it all ties into other pressing issues that will (or should) be on voters’ minds in 2008.

NOTE: I can’t seem to listen to the station online. “New-to-Vegas,” I claim. Can anyone help? I thought all radio stations were online these days.

Also, the site that you mention is in California, http://www.espn920.com/ is the ESPN station in Vegas.

Radley Balko has his own website and is one of the few Americans who seems to believe in freedom. His writings are usually right on the mark and unlike so many conservatives wants government out of our personal lives. The passage og UIGEA was a new low for congress.

carl sampson is my favorite poker from Europe. And his teachings would really be of great use to the poker players.
