License to Shill
There are probably more personalized license plates in Las Vegas than anywhere else per capita. Perhaps because they only cost $36, or because so many people in this town are totally full of themselves. I’m being serious — at any given stoplight not on the Strip, you can expect to see at least a fourth of the cars labeled with the likes of KITZKAT, CIRQUE, NO CASH, TJQKA, and BLOGHME.
Hmm, I have to get a new Nevada license plate … I have $36 … and the Nevada DMV has a fun web-thingy for checking availability of your vanity phrase. You’re limited to 4-7 alphanumeric characters (but no zeros), so POKERATI is out. But some available possibilities to consider:

Hmmm. Kind of a confusing website but I think the blogger is, like, POKERATI?
Actually, Nevada is fourth in the number of prestige (official term) plates and, you’re right, it has a lot to do with how expensive that accessory is.
DANGER: I’m on the committee that rejects plates so be careful what you say. And also understand that we conform to Nevada Revised Statues and those guidelines, not some street notion of what should be OK.

I vote for Reraze or Potit. Another good one that helps prevent you from getting tickets mailed to you because they can’t identify the plate is O0D00OD

How about “BIGSLIK” “BADBEAT” “HEEHAW” “ICALL” “IMANIT” “UNABMBR”, “MAGICMAN”, “LDIABLO”, “SHKNBAK” (Sorry about the “Talladega Nights” references)

No Zeros, Tom … angle-shooter.
Potit wouldn’t really work for me because I don’t play much Omaha.

BOB!
PKERATI just does not work as well as POKRATI. POKR can almost be said the same as POKER. PKER would almost sound like you had some weird tick..or could even sound like PICKER.
BTW, how ya doing?
