Robin Hood of Blackjack

I just read this news story and I have to say, I am slightly creeped out. Not really sure why.

Then I went to Robin Hood’s own site, and after seeing the circa 1988 (pure guess there) of Caesars Palace, I am now officially creeped out.

He might be a lovely man. He might even be a friend of Pokerati. That’s okay, lots of Pokeratizens creep me out. I’m joking!

Hope this is all good. And that he helps a family in need.

Why be creeped out? I would do the same thing except I would leave out the Robin Hood outfit.

The thing I don’t get is the fact that a family REALLY in need will not have a video camera. I for one do not have one so I can not submit anything to him.

Great minds think alike… I was also wondering about the video camera and online submission for a true family in need. And I also think it’s a bit wasteful for them to have a high roller Vegas weekend when they’d really rather that those funds were added to their take.

If he wanted to help out with half my debt…I would not mind the weekend being spent with him showing me how he lives.

I’m with you, Lisa… If I had a ton of debt and went to Las Vegas for a weekend for things like manicures and pedicures and spas, I’d constantly be thinking, how much is this worth? Can I get cash value?

I suppose the guy’s heart is in the right place…maybe.
