I am a friend of Dennis's from St. Louis. The day after Dennis arrived in London, he got word that his Mom passed away, unexpectedly. He returned home at once to be with the family.

They didn't play the WSOPE, but Schwartz and Suharto played day 1b of the EPT event in London. That leaves Phillips as the only one not to show up in London. He is scheduled to play the EPT High Rollers event. Phillips also didn't play in the Pokerstars online tournament that featured the Million Dollar Men and Stars' four sponsored champions (Moneymaker, Raymer, Hachem and McEvoy).

Interesting, Kevmath. Acc. to PN chip counts, it looked like six of the November Nine ended up playing in WSOPE events, with Phillips, Schwartz, and Suharto deciding against (unless they were there and missed getting mentioned, which is doubtful).
