The Borgata Poker Open was in September. The Borgata Winter Open schedule (with its corresponding lower buyins) can be found at http://tinyurl.com/borgatawinteropen

Will the Borgata Poker Open still hold its lesser buy-in events? If so, has a schedule been posted anywhere? I have been looking all over this internet thing and can't find any answers.

Yeah, I think I'm being shunned from WPT press releases as well. I only got this because I specifically inquired about the Borgata event being off the schedule. I got no personal response to that - only the "friend" e-mail. Haha.

Perhaps most shocking is that you get "Friend of WPT" status. I don't even get their press releases any more!

But Shrink, I don't think the other Borgata event has a particularly bad turnout. Sure, it was down from last year, but not horribly.

That 2009-10 schedule will tell it all. But since we don't even know when the current season will air on TV, I doubt we'll hear about the next season anytime soon.

The "other" Borgata event stayed on the schedule in September because it's already over. The real question is are there going to be any events on the 2009-10 schedule, not any Borgata events.. any events at all? There is now a near zero revenue stream from the tv shows, other than ego what would motivate WPT to try it again?
