  • How do we know that this sort of thing isn’t a hoax? I could see lots of creative photoshopping coming into play at this point.

At the same time, I could also understand if each site had a relatively infinitesimal number of glitches — say something like this happened .001 percent of the time … still thousands of hands, but not a big deal if it was known and always corrected.

  • Actually, maybe I take the second part of that back … if this sort of thing happened 10 times out of every million hands … that would still be a serious problem.

    Dan,

While I agree that people could be hoaxing just to get at UB, I could post a 3rd hand from later Saturday that shows someone losing more chips than expected from a Omaha Hi/Lo tournament. That player did get refunded in tournament dollars for that incident.

Here’s a hand from earlier this morning. Note who gets part of the pot:

    Seat 3: NOGR ( $30.70 USD )
    Seat 4: SPLITYAWIG ( $351.20 USD )

    SPLITYAWIG folds
ZERO TO HERO raises [$3.50 USD]
    DIRKY83 folds
    NOGR folds
ZERO TO HERO wins $2.50 USD from main pot

If this is correct, it would be the 4th noted “glitch” since Saturday.

Sorry, but is it so difficult to withdraw your money from a poker site who is having computer issues? Why keep playing when you know things are going wrong. I stopped playing online poker about a year ago cause of the numerous bad beats that I experienced, and because I’m not good at online poker anyway.
