I do not hate on line Poker. We need it for the BM game because of the money on line sites put into so many events.

All the tracking software and other software available to the RICH on line players is an advantage they have over BM Casino players and this has been a topic of discussion for awhile.

I play for gas money on line...What I have won and lost, I have spent on one tournament at the WSOP.

I try SO Hard at being a good On Line Player and have been very very patient and the unusual beats just ruin the fun of playing.

No doubt I have seen unusual hands live....I know you have to Jen being the GREAT Tournament reporter you are, but my gut twists and turns with some things on line and I am not pointing the finger at ANY site, but if it happened at UB and Absolute, the question is....why not somewhere else?

I would never want to argue with my Jen Jen....

p.s. my daughter's name is Jennifer and I call her Jen Jen....:)

Dan your another story though, beer is on me next time

I'll fight you on this one, Scott ... are you serious?

***it’s amazing how certain player’s on line ALWAYS get the best of it, way too often***

Isn't that our whole argument for poker being a game of skill? You could say the same things about BM poker back in the days before online existed ... it was like certain old-dog pros were always winning! Are you suggesting that they may have cheated along the way? Oh, wait ... never mind ... that's a possibility, too.

I won't get into an argument over this here, Scott. I'll only say that I definitely defend online poker - all the time - and actually do quite a bit of work for Pokerstars. If I didn't believe in the integrity of the company, I certainly wouldn't work for them. I've had issues with UltimateBet and Absolute Poker for obvious reasons, but that in no way means that I don't support online poker in general.

Scott, that happens sometimes. If it happened in a live tournament, which it sometimes does (the reason there are bad beat jackpots), you wouldn't say that the casino was rigged.

I am more of a skeptic of on line after I saw an all in by two players...One holding 22 and the other holding jj preflop for all their chips at the final table of the ME.

The flop....2j2...come on now!

i'm just a little confused at how they all can be "main events". were there three "tiers" of tourneys ... high-stakes, low-stakes, micro?

i kinda like that ... reminds me of high school sports, where you have varsity, JV, and sometimes a C-team or freshman squad.

Ya know, it's actually a good concept. Most online tournaments exclude players because the buy-ins are so high, though there are always satellites. But this SCOOP allowed very high-stakes players to have their games, and everyone else could get in on the action as well with various buy-in levels.
