I’m just glad to see the presumably impartial commentator not buying his line of horse shizznit.

Of course we can expect the counter-arguments to get more sophisticated as this debate takes shape in coming months.

BTW, one of the things I noticed about this “debate” … that we need to be able to jump on at appropriate times … the ~~idiot~~ good-hearted gambling foe makes big claims that playing poker against a machine is extra dangerous.

That argument, can be squashed, of course, with a simple but emphatic explanation of peer-to-peer online poker play.

Another reminder, when the “click your mouse, lose your house” argument comes up, we should have some stats at the ready to show just how much play is at the micro-stakes (not available in live poker) … so we can say that more realistically, for the super-vast majority, it’s “click your mouse and have a 60-40 shout of making a nickel with two cards to come.”
