A side not for Scott and Alicia: Make sure the Visa/Mastercard card package says it can be used for international use. Most cards if you read the fine print on the package say they are for domestic use only (i.e. only used in the U.S.). Since most online sites are outside the U.S., the domestic use cards will not work. Also watch out for the Green Dot series of cards. When you get one of these you are basically opening a credit card account and will pay monthly fees if you do not charge more than a specified amount each month.

Go to your local grocery store or check cashng place. You can buy a Visa card and load it up with money there and use it to deposit to ANY site. Thats what I have done recently bought a Visa card and put a $100.00 on it.

I have been fortunate enough to not have had to put money online in years. I've just been cashing out. I did try to put money online to another site to get a bonus and couldn't get any on. It is my understanding that the prevent banks from receiving any money from gambling sites

Alicia, taking money out of your account out of fear of UIGEA being implemented doesn't make sense...as far as I know the law only deals with blocking transactions TO online sites (deposits) and not ones FROM them (withdrawals). So if anything, if you fear the UIGEA being implemented, you should make sure you have enough money in your bankroll so you could make it through any period of time where you would be unable to make a deposit.

I'm happy about this development but... I had just pulled off all but $20 out of my Full Tilt account. How do I get put money back on? I guess I could challenge myself to rebuild off of $20 but dang that takes forever

I'm not sure yet. One of the bills supposedly goes to Frank's committee next week ... but so far the best I can tell is this development is the equivalent to getting it all-in on a big hand, only to have the board play out in a strange way resulting in a chopped pot.

We'll take it! No?

I guess why a six-month delay is to try and get HR 2266 passed and signed, then eventually get something like the IGREA passed?
