Most cards if you read the fine print on the package say they are for domestic use only (i.e. only used in the U.S.). Since most online sites are outside the U.S., the domestic use cards will not work. Also watch out for the Green Dot series of cards. When you get one of these you are basically opening a credit card account and will pay monthly fees if you do not charge more than a specified amount each month. So if anything, if you fear the UIGEA being implemented, you should make sure you have enough money in your bankroll so you could make it through any period of time where you would be unable to make a deposit.
