Apparently, I haven’t finished overanalyzing it yet.

The “20??” is also very confusing. I think it reads easier if you just use a question mark to indicate a potential future date. 1998-? is much more standard, and makes a lot more sense.

If you insist, you could use four question marks, showing 1998-????

The “Last Year” part is what’s really confusing, because it’s not in numeral form. (I first read it as a question: “Last year minus 20?”)

It would have made more sense if you had written “2009-20??”

It would have made even more sense if you had written “1998-20??” because Wikipedia claims the first real-money game of online poker was dealt on January 1, 1998.

Have I overanalyzed this minutiae enough yet?

BJ, you should know by now I take great pleasure in confusing you. But yes, your read is right … I’m trying to imply it’s currently the biggest in history — but how long will that designation last?

What does “Last Year – 20??” mean? Are you trying to show a duration, like from 2009 to some unknown date in the future? Isn’t that already covered by “biggest in history”?

This title really confuses me.
