A perhaps unintended benefit from reading this book, for me, was now I have a much better idea of how my hands are being read by other good players. Utilizing this information, I can alter their read of strength or weakness of my own hand in ways that cause them to make mistakes against me.

Miller outlines common tendencies by “Fish, Nits, and Regulars” throughout the book and what motivates them to make the bets, bluffs and raises that they make.  This insight alone is worth investing in this resource.

Trust me, this is a way better use of that Amazon gift card than waiting for the next “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.”
