Druff, Micon, and Drexel are all present for this one, as we return to the airwaves after a 16-day absence. Tournament grinder Stacey Lynn is our special guest. We talk about the Tobey Maguire poker bust. AP founder Phil Tom is back at the WSOP playing Mr. Innocent. We discuss the rumors that Full Tilt stupidly invested $200 million in a no-name movie company. Micon continues to obsess over bitcoins. The June 29th DonkDown Insert Coins Party is announced. Drexel walks off the show when Micon won’t hang up on Yebsite. Druff and Micon both deal with illnesses while hosting the episode. Druff talks about being denied tomatoes on the side at a Subway restaurant.

(Ten players are already above a million.) He was into the 600s for a while, but gave a healthy chunk to the guy on his left. “I hate this table,” he told me. It had on it the aforementioned big stack, Humberto Brenes, Tobey Maguire, and an online phenom/Jackie’s alum I am learning more about named “The Waco Kid.”

Fortunately for Josh, his table was broken as players bagged their chips for the night … so we’ll see where he starts the day tomorrow — 337 players remain.

Familiar faces left in Day 2a are few and far between. John Duthie (one of my favorites) is among the chip leaders with Huck Seed not too far behind and David Levi working a short stack. On break Levi said he wasn’t too excited about 50k after a big loss but since he started the day with only 15k…then he shrugged his shoulders. John Duthie said he was up and down but thought he should be okay if he made it through tonight. I should say so…Duthie is looking good with a stack over 300k
<img width="220"src='http://pokerati.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/bobbybaldwin.jpg' alt='bobbybaldwin.jpg' />

Other notables are Houston’s Ted Leva, Bobby Baldwin (see photo), Bruno Fitoussi, Neil Channing, Robert Mizrachi and Tobey Maguire. They are down to 386 players and will play down to 350 tonight “no matter what.”

BTW – I announced Liger in the media room and someone from not America said “Did you say Liger? I didn’t know anyone knew they existed, I know a lot about Ligers!”
