So what’s up with Poker at the Lodge?

That was a new thing I had in mind for 2007 … PAL (Poker at the Lodge) as opposed to LAP (Lodge Amateur Poker). Seriously, where does the genius stop? But we’ll have to see what comes of that. So while I still can’t tell you what the thing will be called, I know a lot of folks have a lot of questions about the future of what we thought of as the Best Little Pokerhouse in Texas.

(By the way, thanks to all of you for the kind words and violent encouragement.)

I was hoping to get word of what to expect on Sunday up today — before you all check out from work. But a lotta poker-craziness going on right now, as we type … so if you want to know more about this curiously transitional period, check in with Pokerati on Saturday. That is all for now.

(Good) Poker on …

Hey a few of us are going to Choctaw tomorrow. Tim is already out there and having fun. I will be meeting Derek and another friend around 10AM. Not sure if we would still be there once you woke up at 3PM or whenever you crawl out of bed on Saturdays. I will stay as long as I have a bankroll and my brother-in-law is not ready to head back.
