Armed Texas Poker Robbery

Lavigne in Austin alerts us to a poker robbery with gunfire that went down in San Antonio late Saturday night. The man who got shot was 55 years old — the same age as Richard Lee. While there was no mention of any money taken, the robbers apparently ran off with a bracelet and a ring. Could it be this guy had some World Series bling on?
Hard to say. The above-referenced article has at least one mistake in it … as they say it went down in a Southwest Side home, but they give an address that is in an industrial park/underground poker-roomy area in Northeast San Antonio.

No wonder I can’t find a game in this poker-dry city. But it reminds me again — ABC: Always Be Carrying.
