Re: Main Event Pre-registration Closed
LAS VEGAS–While finding out some answers for TBR — you can register up to and on Day 3 (of Day 1) assuming there is still space left, which there definitely should be — we also learned the number of people who have already registered for the 2007 WSOP $10,000 main event:
749

Seems tiny, but I don’t know how it compares to previous years on the date when the event was one week away.

F’reals? Like seriously? You didn’t leave out a digit or nothin’?

I wouldn’t think too much of it. If I didn’t give you the number and asked: What percentage of main event players will be pre-registered two weeks before it begins?
… I suspect 10 percent, maybe 15 would seem realistic. And besides, we’re almost past the number of entries in the moneymaker year!

And I assume they’ve got the satellites and super-satellites up and runnning?

Have to believe there were a damn lot more than 749 preregistered two weeks before the 2006 WSOP began.

Full Tilt poker is sending over 360 and they had to have registered already. This number can’t be right.

>>and they had to have registered already<< where do you get this from? Chris Como won a seat via Full Tilt, and he hasn't registered yet.
