One Year Ago Today …

… a bunch of our lives were changing, live on C-Span / semi-live on PokerBlog. And the next day we were trying to make sense of it so we could figure out what else would come.

    Wow – a year?

I’m glad you pointed that out. It really is interesting to note how much has changed in poker since that congressional vote.

I only hope that we will soon (or whenever we can get it) be celebrating a victory for poker. I still have faith in enough of our elected officials to do the right thing.

As bad as this law was for my life, personally, I gotta wonder if it wasn’t a good thing for poker in the long run. Can you imagine the clusterfuck the WSOP woulda been this year without the law? Clearly woulda devolved into violence.
