Non-Breaking News: Doyle Brunson Still Living

Doyle Brunson has not died — this according to his own blog, where he reports on his pre-WSOP vacation in Montana. Hmm, I wonder where he coulda heard such rumors — I know one of my generally reliable sources told me that was the story on 2+2 last week, but I could find nothing of the sort. While Pokerati has not independently confirmed the status of Brunson’s vitals, we’ll take his electronic word for it for now. Developing …

    The reason why you don’t see a post on 2+2 is that I deleted the post, then permabanned the person who decided to post the rumor. I’m certain the poker community won’t miss that poster.

    There’s a lesson to be learned here, Dan. If Brunson *had* actually died, you wouldn’t be ready with the insta-post. You should take a page CNN who has obituary/tribute pages standing by for some of the more notable and mortally delicate celebrities.
