WSOP Conference Call at 10am PT today

by , Apr 28, 2009 | 8:16 am

Today is the annual conference call done by the fine folks at the World Series of Poker (such as Jeffrey Pollack, Jack Effel, someone at Milwaukee’s Best, someone from Harrah’s etc), is scheduled to start at 10am PT. The audio usually turns up later in the day, and there’ll be some live blogging/commenting of the call, at least at Wicked Chops Poker. Can we set an over/under on the number of stupid questions that get asked by the non-poker media?

As a note, that extra money that was added to the prize pool for the November Nine turned out to average just over 12k to the top 8 finishers (thanks worldwide economic collapse!)

So far not too many stupid questions. Though some might want to credit that to the media’s increasing sophistication, it could also reflect less of an interest from non-poker media?

At least there are not silly fourth-tier online sites trying to pose as media.
