Vive La Poker France?

More craziness in poker. And it seems like much of the relevant action — on the felt and off, frankly — has been shaking out in France. Apparently Google Translate has it’s limitations … and just when the Partouche Poker Tour reminded us that the French were the true originators of Théâtre de l’Absurde, we have WPT Paris coming up and the WSOP headed to Cannes.

With 18 players in the GPI 300, France maintains its position as the 3rd most powerful country in poker. Here’s how their countrymen stack up amongst themselves:

1. Bertrand Grospellier 2820.14
2. (+1) Fabrice Soulier 2032.07
3. (-1) Tristan Clemencon 1982.63
4. Roger Hairabedian 1852.00
5. Phillippe Ktorza 1738.83
