Tournament Slot Junkies

I think I get it now … the lure of slot machines, the appeal of tournament banks, the concept of Slotomania … but who knew those years spent playing Track and Field (1984-87, I believe) were actually prepping us for a higher level of competitive play. Thankfully the slot machines at the Rio for the 2012 Triple Slot Series don’t use those dastardly knife guards. Are you going to tell me there isn’t at least some skill required in winning slot play? Beyond the railbirds, I think you can see other similarities with the WSOP, even though I’m not sure what event I’m witnessing.

The future is all about real-money slot machines. That’s my not-so-new position and I’m sticking to it — especially after some intense battles of Words with Friends gave me a glimpse of who’s spending money to get slot customers.
