2024 Prague European Poker Tour

The EPT part of the festival kicks in on December 8, with Day 1 of the €50,000 Super High Roller. On the following day, December 9, things will really get underway with the first of the two starting flights for the €5,300 EPT Main Event.

As always, the Main Event is the star of the show, but PokerStars certainly did a great job with this year’s schedule, mixing in some really interesting and different events to cater to different preferences.

One tournament from that category that certainly captures the attention is the Live Spin & Go Championship. This is a completely new concept and, for the Prague event, entries will be limited to 74 online qualifiers and seven special guests. Even though it’s not open to general public, it’ll be interesting how this event plays out and if the trend catches on for future EPTs.

The €2,200 Mixed Game Championship has been added to the docket for this year as well, and the mix of games in the event will include Big Bet and 2-7. For all fans of non-Hold’em variants, this is certainly great news, and with an affordable buy-in, the tournament should see a solid attendance.
