After a week that saw some of the biggest televised pots in the history of the game played over on High Stakes Poker, things de-escalated significantly, with streamed games bringing us mostly smaller games with more reasonable amounts of money in play.
Yet, the likes of Mariano, Henry, and San made sure we would see lots of five, and even some six-figure pots, as Hustler Casino Live action continued with regular scheduling.
Wednesday’s stream was a particularly fun one, as the action was wild and loose, leading to some crazy hands and 4-way all-ins.
King Henry dominated on Thursday, while Mariano dropped a big one to San on Friday after trying a little too hard to drive the action.

4-Way All-In Action on Wet Wednesday
Wet Wednesday brought us another fun show with players like Wolfgang, DGAF, Linna, and San, whom we don’t always get to see playing for high stakes.
Yet, despite the stakes being high and lots of money in action, the action was quite wild, and one hand that describes it all saw four players move all-in before the flop was even dealt.
The group was playing $25/$50, but a $500 straddle was on to start the action in this one. Sickest Fool limped in for $500 with his A♠Q♦, followed by Luis La Fleur, who limped in from a stack of just $2.5k holding 8♦7♦.
San Man also made the call with his K♦J♦, before DGAF finally bumped it up to $3k with A♣Q♣.
Rich Asian Bro was next to act and he woke up with 10♥6♥, but he decided this hand was good enough to gamble with, so he moved all-in for $7.8k.
One by one, the players got it in for $9.8k, $2.5k, and $9.8k, with San Man being the only one to get out of the way preflop.
The pot went up to $30,450 before any community cards were even dealt, and given the size of the game, it was about to be a huge one for whoever took it down.
Yet, the players agreed to run it twice, which meant two players could still benefit from the 4-way all-in.
The first board brought K♣10♠10♦Q♥6♠, which meant Rich Asian Bro would scoop one half of the pot with an unlikely full house.
The second board was A♦9♥5♦7♠2♥, which made it a split between DGAF and Sickest Fool, both of whom won a quarter of the pot.
Luis La Fleur was the only one not to get a taste of this pot, as he got stacked and ended up losing just over $1kk in total for the game.
San was the big loser in the game, as he managed to drop $56k at a relatively temperate table, while Wolfgang walked away with a $47k win.
King Henry Flops the Nuts
Thursday Night Fever brought us new HCL appearances by the likes of Henry, Wolfgang, Jack C, and Dr.H, and the group played a lively session of $25/$50 NLH.
The biggest pot of the game saw several players get all their money in on the flop, and it started with a double straddle to $200, which Henry raised to $1,000 with his K♥Q♥.
Jack C made the call with A♣2♣, Dr.H joined with his 6♠5♠, and Mad Dawg closed the action with Q♦8♥.
Everyone but Dr.H got a taste of the board as J♠10♣9♣ was dealt, giving two players a straight and opening up a flush opportunity for Jack C.
Henry put out the first bet for $2,500 with his nuts, Jack called drawing to the flush, and Mad Dawg put in a raise to $9,500 looking to protect his straight.
Henry set the trap and just called, before Jack decided to play the hero and move all-in for $39.5k in total. Mad Dawg gladly called off his $27.6k, drawing dead to a chop, and Henry just needed to put the chips in and pray to hold.
The pot quickly ballooned to $110,425, and as is usually the case in spots like these, the three players agreed to run the board twice.
The first turn was the miracle card for Mad Dawg, as the K♠, meant he could win a quarter of the pot, provided the river wasn’t a spade. The river card was the 8♦, and Henry and Mad Dawg chopped up the first half.
The second board brought 10♦ and 2♦, meaning Jack C had bricked out on his flush outs, and Henry would scoop up the biggest part of the pot.
Mariano and San Run It Twice
Friday night’s Hustler Casino Live game featured smaller and more temperate action than last week’s, but not for lack of trying on the part of the likes of Mariano.
One of the most popular poker vloggers in the world got involved in many pots and looked for opportunities to drive the action whenever possible, which led to one of the bigger pots of the night.
Nicolette opened the action to $300 with her A♥7♥, Henry made a dubious call with 9♣4♣, and Mariano smooth-called as well, holding A♦9♦.
Next to act, San woke up with A♠K♣, and bumped it up to $6k, which got rid of both Nicolette and Henry. Yet, Mariano saw this as an opportunity to play a big one, so he made the call with his dominated Ace.
The flop brought A♣10♥2♣, giving both players a top pair, Mariano check-jammed for his remaining $29k over the top of San’s $6k c-bet, and San made the easy call to put the pot above the $71k mark.
The players agreed to run it twice, and the board ran clean for San both times, as the first turn and river brought 6♦ and 3♦, followed by 5♦ and 8♣ on the second runout.
This pot was in part responsible for San’s $50k win, while Mariano also managed to win $16k in the game despite losing this hand to San.
Alex ended up as the game’s biggest loser, down $59k, with Big Mike joining him in the losers’ column with a $29k loss.
Henry ended up winning just over $80k in the game, thanks in big part to this hand, but was not the biggest benefactor as Austin managed to score a $130k win.
Jack C was on the other side of the leaderboard, dropping a cool $100k, followed by San, who had a bad week on HCL and lost $78.3k in the Thursday game alone.
