Southern Comfort

LAS VEGAS–Tuscaloosa Johnny ("Johnny Kamdis"[sic] on CardPlayer) will start Day 3 tomorrow with more than 140,000 chips. That's pretty good. As things stand now, he and Daniel Negreanu are currently the best hopes for bloggers to make the final table.

Anyhow, here's the Alabama J-man telling us how things went on Day 2A; his strategy for Day 3; and why he probably won't play the hammer but may play the "Tuscaloosa Slick." (Featuring Ryan from Absinthetics, another blogger hopeful, who was seated at the same table with Johnny and enters Day 3 with about 40,000.)

A group of poker bloggers went to the All-American Grill afterwards to celebrate their advancement (and eat). Almost poetically, Johnny ordered a Sam Adams and a huge slice of Apple Pie.
