The Poker Beat and Rhythym and Rhyme and Metal with a Little Jazz and Gangsta and Country Thrown in

Recorded the latest episode of The Poker Beat today … episode is already up. On the show a few weeks ago, we had a spirited discussion about the oh-so-important role of Lady Gaga in poker, and there I was semi-mocked for acknowledging I have a whole playlist on my iPod of just-poker music.

Though the new “All In” song by The Grouch and Eligh (w/ Pigeon John) isn’t included in my public playlist — along with a few other tunes I haven’t yet paid full price for — thought I’d share it with you in case you’re looking to fill out your own iWSOPod with just the right mix of poker-specific musical inspiration to carry you through a tournament or the cash-game grind:

    No Ace of Spades?

who’s it by? i don’t own it … there are about 25 other songs in my personal poker-music playlist, but because either they aren’t in the iTunes store or my copy isn’t recognized as legit, it wasn’t included in this (cool) newfangled iMix thing.

BTW, Kevin, are you an iTunes guy? You can make your own mix! The above widget was really easy to create.

You don’t know who does “Ace of Spades”?

So you’ve never seen “The Young Ones”?

When I leave for a trip “Ace of Spades” is the song I play when I pull away from my apartment.

I’d have thought you’d have stumbled onto Ace of Spades by Motorhead long ago Dan.

Oh, I totally have! I just don’t own it. I don’t claim for this playlist to be complete … and I haven’t figured out how (or if) you can include songs you don’t own.

It’s only for songs in the Itunes store, and if you have CDs that you’ve ripped that have songs that aren’t there, they don’t get included.
