Ryan Feldman is best known as a host at Hustler Casino Live, but every now and again he travels away from home to play in other games. A few months back, Feldman made an appearance at the Lodge Card Club, where he got involved in a $100/$200 game with quite a lineup.
Feldman played a fair few hands during his time at the table, but the pot against Tesla, one of the Lodge regulars, certainly stands out.
He Won’t Be Pushed Around
The hand started with Nick Airball making it $1,000 to go from the lojack and four players made the call, including Tesla with A♥5♠ and Ryan, who held 9♣5♣ in the big blind.
The flop brought A♣Q♣3♣, giving Feldman a flopped straight. The action checked around to Tesla in the cutoff, who bet out for $3,000 with his pair of aces. This got rid of two players, and when it got back to Ryan, he raised to $8,500.
His raise was enough to push Nick Airball out, who figured that his pair of aces with an eight kicker was not the hand he wanted to take to battle.
Tesla, however, was not convinced, and he made the call, bringing the pot to $22,200.
The turn card did pair the board, with the 3♥ making an appearance. Ryan continued firing, this time for $18,500, and Tesla called once again, as the board pairing meant he no longer had to worry about kicker problems.
To make things more complicated, the river came in the form of 5♥, giving Tesla an improved two pair. Feldman had no intentions of pulling back though, as he moved all in for his remaining $79k, which was a slight overbet in relation to the $60k pot.
Ryan wasn’t thrilled to see his opponent snap-call him, but his concerns were quickly alleviated as Tesla turned over his two pair, allowing the Hustler Casino Live host to pick up a pot of $216,800.
