The Global Online Poker Championship, one of CoinPoker’s most ambitious online series to date, is now officially underway. Dubbed a “series for everyone,” the GOPC brings a rich schedule spread across 27 days of action and $50,000,000 in guarantees.
Featuring a wide range of buy-ins and a colorful mix of games and variations, the series truly brings something for every taste, preference, and buy-in level.
CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship officially kicked off on Sunday, August 23, so the series is only a few days deep. There is plenty of action ahead, with generous prizes up for grabs, both in tournaments and various promotions surrounding the series.
Huge Prize Pools, Trophies, and More
The GOPC features an extensive schedule with hundreds of events divided into three buy-in tiers: low, mid, and high. Thanks to this tired and tested approach, the series caters to all players and allows everyone to get involved.
Accounting for the entire schedule, players can look forward to more than 700 Championship events. Every single of these events will award Medals to the winners (Gold, Silver, and Bronze). Championship winners will receive physical and digital medals, while Silver and Bronze medalists will have their achievements displayed in the Trophy Cabinet.
At the heart of the Global Online Poker Championship are three Main Events. Combined, these tournaments will award at least $4.25 million in prize money.
The $530 Main Event comes with a guarantee of $3,000,000, and it is the single largest guarantee in the operator’s history. The tournament will feature multiple Day 1 flights, with the first one coming on September 6 and the final opportunity on September 28.
The mid-tier Main Event comes with a guarantee of $1,000,000 and starting flights already underway. Finally, the $11 Main Event features a promise of $250,000, and Day 1 flights are already running in the CoinPoker client.

$350,000 in Promotional Funds
In addition to at least $50,000,000 in tournament prizes that will be awarded during the GOPC, CoinPoker has also set aside $350,000 to be given out via different promotions.
$200,000 of that will be distributed via Regional Leaderboards. Points are awarded based on in-the-money finishes, and leaderboards are split across buy-in tiers and regions (Europe, LATAM, and Asia).
The Podium Race will distribute $20,000 in prize money to the players accumulating the largest number of points based on Medals won. The entire prize pool will be distributed to the top five finishers.
Finally, there is $130,000 that will be given out to the players during the series via the Bankroll Boosts promo. This promotion will dish out tournament tickets and personalized challenges throughout the Global Online Poker Championship.
Heaps of Action Ahead
The 2026 GOPC is officially underway, and there are loads of reasons to get involved. In addition to rich Main Events and generous promotions, the entire tournament schedule on CoinPoker will be extremely attractive during the series.
The Weekly CoinMasters $150 Bitcoin event will see its guarantee boosted to $400,000, and the Sep 15 edition will feature a promise of $500,000.
The three Weekenders events, CoinPoker’s flagship events, will be dishing out GOPC Medals, providing multiple opportunities to climb the Podium Race.
And for the players with big bankrolls, there are several high-roller events on the schedule, with buy-ins going from $1,050 all the way up to $25,500.
