Doyle’s Room to Block 13 States

Affected by the IP ban:
Illinois
Indiana
Louisiana
Michigan
New Jersey
New York
Nevada
Oregon
South Dakota
Utah
Wisconsin
Washington
Kentucky
Not sure how Nevada’s being included in this affects Doyle Brunson’s ability to play on his own site.

Merge Gaming Network (home of Carbon Poker, Reefer Poker, Poker Nordica and Walker Poker) also are blocking Kentucky residents.
Microgaming had blocked most of those states in the past, now they’re just doing it again. I’m sure Doyle’s got a way to get around that pesky IP block.

I’m not so sure it’s that simple, KevMath. They can’t promote any tourney that he’s in — or say a bounty-fest on Todd, Hoyt, Doyle, et al if it’s obvious they are in Nevada at the time.
Or at least I think this would be the case.

The situation in Kentucky is so stupid you could fall off the Stupid Tree hit every branch on the way down, climb back up it and leap off again before you became as stupid as the elected representatives of Kentucky and the judges who support them.
My question is what can mere mortals do in the face of such freakishly inept boobery. That is all.

It’s time to regulate and tax poker online. Its the only way that it will ever be legal here. This is outragous but it’s only like this because they are not getting their cut. God bless America
