Good-Better-Best of Poker We’re Number 1/10!

Bluff also has their 2008 Reader’s Choice Awards ballots up online, where they’re naming “Bests” in 20 categories — asking your favorite online sites, broadcasters, poker rooms, forums, podcasts, etc. Pokerati is one of 10 finalists in the blog category. Sweet-ish!
Cast your ballot accordingly. To encourage your willingness to spend your valuable click-time with Bluff, all respondents go into a drawing for WSOP Academy seats and a one-year subscription(?) to thepokerdb … which is already free, but still.

A lot of choices not available.
No Hard Rock Poker room?
No Winstar?
No Tao of Pokerati Podcast? Forced me to vote for crap

Tao of Pokerati is too underground … just like we like it.
Re: Hard Rock — my guess is they decided a room that was only open for a third of the year doesn’t quite make the cut; either that or the editor who whipped up the list hasn’t been there yet.
Re: WinStar — It really is a truly great room, but with things going so well over there, do there marketing people even feel the need to work?

Pokerroad’s All Strategy podcast was nominated for the Readers Choice award (when it had 3 episodes), while Cash Plays (which is more popular and had over 6 months of shows on Pokerroad) wasn’t.
I did my duty and voted for Pokerati when they started this thing several months ago.

I didn’t even realize the ballots were up. I learned about it by listening to PokerRoad. I’m sure they will be really happy to know that they sent me over to vote for Lou Krieger in the podcast department.
