TEL AVIV–While waiting to check in to our flight to Zurich from Ben Gurion intl airport in Tel Aviv I figured I\’d hop on the free wifi and see what\’s going on at Pokerati. As you can see, no luck. Dan needs to work on Pokerati\’s international relations.
Seriously, we gotta talk to Isai Scheinberg about this. He’s gotta have some clout with the Israelis, right? No wonder they stopped hitting me up for spam.
We were briefly blocked in the Phoenix airport, but Tom or Robert musta pulled some strings because now all good at Sky Harbor, last I checked
Hi,
The site is not blocked in Israel. The free wi-fi in the Airport has gambling filters on it, and one of the things they look for in site names is, obviously, poker.
Rest assured, Israeli readers can still read these pages and enjoy the fact that while the airport might block poker, we are still better off than many Americans when it comes to freedom to play.
seriously? i was under the impression that israel had forced ISPs to block gambling sites. Are we just totally mistaken about that — something lost in Google translate?
