As announced earlier, CoinPoker will be adding a new and exciting tournament to its schedule. Aptly dubbed The One, the $250 event will feature a massive $5,000,000 guarantee, and the operator plans to host it once a year.
We now have the details for the very first edition of The One tournament, including the number of Day 1 flights, various qualifying paths, and more.

26 Day 1 Flights in October
With a buy-in of just $250 and a massive $5,000,000 guarantee, The One needs quite a few entries to make its promise. Thus, it comes as no surprise that the tournament will feature 26 individual Day 1 flights, taking place October 4 – 12.
During the October 4 – 11 period, there will be three Day 1 flights available every day:
- 1:30 PM UTC
- 4:30 PM UTC
- 7:30 PM UTC
Additionally, on October 12, there will be two more turbo flights with five-minute blind levels to give players a couple of final opportunities to get involved.
All Day 1 flights feature unlimited reentries.
As is usually the case, players are allowed to enter as many Day 1 flights as they like. If you happen to qualify for Day 2 more than once, your largest stack will progress.
The good news is that CoinPoker will refund the player’s buy-in for every attempt that qualifies for Day 2. This means that you can continue playing Day 1 flights after you qualify to try and build a larger stack; your largest stack will carry through, and you’ll get back your buy-in money for every successful attempt.
Furthermore, you’ll also receive the min-cash value for any additional Day 2 seats (minus the buy-in). So, if the min-cash is $700, you’ll receive $450 in bonus funds for every additional Day 2 qualification.
Satellites & Qualifiers Starting Soon
CoinPoker will give players many different opportunities to win a seat in The One, with direct satellites, step qualifiers, and freerolls starting as early as September 28.
Direct satellites will be available starting at $5.50 while step qualifiers begin at just $0.10.
There will also be free The One tickets up for grabs. Once the action kicks off, three players who make the biggest number of reentries into Day 1 flights on any given day will receive a free ticket each.
Players who are active in the CoinPoker Discord community can look forward to some tickets, too. The player who receives the title of the Discord Hero for September (selected by server moderators and the wider community vote) will receive a free $250 ticket to The One.
Qualifiers for The One begin on September 28, the last day of the operator’s massive Global Online Poker Championship. Thus, CoinPoker will keep the momentum going, giving players another big event to look forward to in the near future.
