Jackie in Austin sends along info about a holiday tournament (in Oklahoma, I think) that reminds us little is sacred in poker … but hey, should that surprise us when we play a game where successfully raping your friends is considered a good thing? (That\’s right, bitches.)
That, or it means that poker is simply extremely progressive and concerned with the social issues that the good Dr. Martin Luther King brought to the fore.
But either way, mad props to Poker for making this forthcoming celebration not just for black people any more.
UPDATE: The MLK tournament is being held at the Sycuan Casino outside San Diego.
