Donkey Bomber Makes WSOP Circuit Final Table in Tunica

by , Jan 20, 2008 | 6:28 pm

Tom Schneider makes another final table, this time in Tunica. It was only back in November that he made the WSOP Circuit final table at Caesar’s Indiana, though then he was short-stacked.

Tomorrow, Tom will begin final table play with a healthy stack of 422,000. (Correction: The final table is Tuesday at noon CST. Thanks, Kevin!)

There were 180 players entered into the $7500 buy-in event, and the winner is guaranteed $428,210. Not a bad way to kick off 2008…

PokerListings is doing live updates from the event, which is where you can find the following info (and more):

The WSOP is covering these buy-ins, I think. He was supposed to get an entry into WSOP Europe with his POY win, but he couldn’t make it and instead is getting bought in to a bunch of circuit events. Diversifying his geographic poker portfolio seems to be a working out well. Go Big Tom!

Just a note, the final table will be on Tuesday, (unless something changed) because Bluff’s and WSOP.com’s crack commentary team will come down to broadcast the final table.

    Kevin…

Thanks, Kevin! Just made the correction in the post itself.

I guess this gives Tom the opportunity to play Day 1B of the WPT event tomorrow if he so chooses.

    Go Tom!

If Tom does play Day 1b, what does he do if he still has a stack, it’d be hard to multitable between the two venues.
