Dan … read on Pokerati about “the cheater” caught on tape. Has he been banned from Las Vegas – or, at least from the WSOP Tournament?

Dad, it’s not really cheating … it’s up to the player to protect their own cards. But it’s not gentlemanly. He’s attempting to do something he shouldn’t … and it’s a close call whether or not that constitutes cheating. But if a floor supervisor were to see it, they wouldn’t penalize the guy looking at the cards — they would simply warn the guy who is exposing his cards to be more careful.

Don’t worry… Once he find’s out that it’s on Pokerati, I’m sure he’ll opt to kill himself, rather than face the lynch mob that’s sure to be forming outside his home as you are reading this.

Hmmm … the To Catch a Predator of Poker … very interesting concept!

I still want to know how you know he was looking for hole cards, and not just watching the play. Cheating is a pretty stiff accusation.

Dude, i said “attempted cheating”. but maybe angle-shooting would be a better word. But it’s not like I named this guy.

I will guarantee you he wasn’t looking for tells, he was wishing he had his sunglasses so he could do a better job of giving himself an edge by knowing Pat’s cards. Dirty. But really, I’m not out to bust him so much as I am to warn other players what they need to be careful of.

I just don’t know how you can know that, unless he told you that.
