Watch ‘Em Go!

Today began with 474 players. By the end of the second level of the day, there were 280 remaining. Yeow.
They’re droppin’ fast, and the tournament staff noted at the beginning of the day that this would likely be the case. So, the unofficial statement is that if the player count is close to 175 by the end of the fourth level of the day, they will not play the fifth level. Everyone will instead go home or at least get the hell outta here, then return tomorrow to play Level 20.

You mean level 20 tomorrow? I don’t think they’re going to skip level 20 🙂

Why did they not finish that one level? Surely they coulda played for another half-hour, no?

I assume they wanted to end with full tables? Didn’t make sense to me either, as it seems to indicate they go over 5 levels and 40 minutes. today.
