God Check-Raise the Queen
by Dan Michalski, Sep 17, 2009 | 12:58 pm
The WSOP-E gets underway today … and as part of the celebratory ti-doo, they’re unveiling celebrated Lego artist James Fentiman’s latest work at the Casino at The Empire, Leicester Square … an image of the Queen constructed out of £1 million worth of poker chips. (2,000 checks in total.)
Umm, OK … pardon my Yankeeness, but I don’t see it!

Really? Really? There’s a queen in there, LOL? I guess that’s just how fine art works.

Exactly, profile view, reverse of Kevin’s pic. Can’t you see her nose, Dan?

I know she can be ballsey at times but two adam’s apples?

Still looks like a peninsula to me … something taken off of Google maps. Not the most flattering shot …
But I do like the notion of creative color arrangement when stacking chips. I look forward to seeing more of that in future tournaments.

As a British man I can affirmatively say that this bears very little resemblance to the Queen.
She hasn’t had the all-face Union Jack tattoo for years.
