I am Marie-Lizette Acoba. Yes, I have two first names AND a last name. I'm trying to start a new trend... I'm bring surnames back. But if that's a mouthful, no worries! To most people I'm simply "Lizette."
I enjoy playing poker and writing about my poker exploits at confessionsofapokerprowannabe.com.
In addition to playing poker, I am a freelance poker writer and photographer. I do what I can to change minds about the poker industry so that one day it can be accepted as mainstream entertainment like professional sports and reality television.
I've only been on this side of the rail for three years, but I've managed to wiggle my way into some pretty cool gigs. I also write the poker blog for The Bicycle Casino, market its live webcast 'Live at the Bike,' and manage The Bike's social media accounts.
I also I do social media consulting, webdesign and marketing promotion for several other poker companies, poker charity events and a few select friends, but it's not my primary focus.
