Beware Yo Pimpage

If any bloggers were considering backing any players at the WSOP or WPT beware pimping your player. CNET reports about the online media and the conflicts of interest.
Like seriously, if I were to back Dan…I would NEVER keep my readers posted on his play! Of course, Dan hasn’t IPO’d yet.

Hmm, this could throw the whole poker media for a loop. Because really, isn’t Full Tilt just as much a media company as they are an online poker site? And isn’t CardPlayer really just the biggest shill out there?
An important question is, of course, do the readers care?

Eyes looking up-left, cough cough.

Michele, Pokerati doesn’t take a rake. (Though we would love to.) What are you trying to suggest?

If the media enforces serious regulations on bloggers, I mean news sites, no I mean bloggers.

Well, not to get too technical, but regulations on bloggers would be virtually impossible to enforce … unless we the big bad boys get their way undoing “net neutrality.” but that’s a whole different issue.
