RE: WSOP Final Table and Not a Final Table (4)

LAS VEGAS – They play 10-handed until they reach nine for a regular Hold’em event, seven handed until they reach six in a six handed event. Therefore, tenth and seventh are not officially final tables. According to the WSOP Structure Sheet:

Day Two will resume at Xpm on XXXX, 2007, and play down to the final table.

Furthermore, BJ clarifies:

But play continued on Day 2 until #7 busted. The official final table started on Day 3 with just six players, and only those six players receive “credit” for reaching the final table.

This is all null and void if the seventh or tenth player is Vinnie Vinh.
