I went for a walk and now I’m off to the L.A. Poker Classic to try my luck skill in the $1k limit and $1k ladies events. Last year’s limit event had a total of 176 players and the ladies event had 120. A nice surprise is this year the ladies event entry fee has doubled from $500 so it should be interesting to see if the number of entries will change.
It would be nice to have one of those sweet sponsorships to pay my entry fee. You know, the online site deals where they fly you all over the world, put you in a nice hotel and basically pay you to “play.†But it looks like my hands will be digging in my own pocket handbag.
