Bracelet Bound

I have spent the past week trying to prepare for a six-week stint in Vegas and I am beyond stressed. I have had ballet recitals, pre-k graduation, teacher gifts to give, visiting guests, paperwork due now for the fall, doctor appointments, volunteer activities (can’t say no), working out (more exciting since Brad Ausmus joined my gym) and much more. Sorry to Debbie Downer you with my problems (glad to have these types of problems, right?) but hey, too bad.

Tomorrow, my husband and I along with our two children will head for Las Vegas in the pursuit of happiness a WSOP bracelet. When I booked the house I thought…why not, it will be fun. But now…what the hell am I thinking? How irresponsible is this? Not to mention my mother who keeps giving me that disapproving look. Ugh!

Nonetheless, I am now Vegas bound and ready to rock and roll. Wish me luck.

Did I mention I haven’t packed yet?

Good luck, Michele! And tell the Unfresh Prince to drive carefully. See you there next week. And welcome to the deliciously degenerate world of poker media at the WSOP. You are going to do great/probably break down crying at least once.
