RE: Backing into the (Oklahoma) Money

Chuck the Accountant in Fort Worth sends along the numerical details of his proposed sliding backing scale for this weekend’s $1 million (guaranteed?) Red River Round-up at WinStar. Whaddya think? Which option — if any — would make the most sense if you were the backer, or the player?

Original post

I see a slight problem in that these numbers don’t take into account the extra $100 entry fee. And how different will they look if the field doesn’t exceed, say, 700? Also curious how the sliding scale would be affected if there were multiple backers for smaller pieces of the Good Chuck pie.

So Chuck, apparently no one cares. I’m still good to back you for $100 … and would happily take 8 percent for that investment.

I care and I hope he does well. If I had $500 I would back him in an instant. Think I have like $200 in my bankroll at this point in time. 🙂 NOW if I could get some money out of bodog quickly then we could talk for reals.

Ed, what happened to that $1k you had built up on Bodog?
